The Most Expensive Wine in the World

The average price of Domaine Romanée-Conti continues to set records. The average price of a bottle is now at $20,110 according to Wine-Searcher’s method of aggregating prices across the span of a month. According to their accounting, the money spent to buy fine wine like DRC could get you six times the amount of Screaming Eagle! That being said, the wines of Leroy are coming in at a close second, and prices spike and drop from day to day. Keep an eye on the race—Wine-searcher thinks DRC may drop back in the next few months, but only time will tell.
