Bordeaux 2015: Most Expensive Since 2010
2015 weather proved favorable in Bordeaux, as a very hot June and July was tempered by August showers, then a perfect harvesting season. The quality of crop is being reflected in price. Though most top growths haven't released their wines, early releases by the likes of Chateau Beychevelle, Chateau Pape Clement and Chateau Langoa Barton have put their wines on the market and the market to buy fine wine is well aware of the increase in price. 2015 is averaging 15-20 percent higher than 2014. It may be the most Bordeaux has cost since 2010, but few can argue with the quality this vintage offers.
