The relatively deeply pitched and quite ripe blue and violet-suffused nose flashes additional breadth in the form of discreet earth and game hints. There is excellent volume and mid-palate density to the naturally sweet, rich and sappy flavors that are wrapped around a still moderately firm tannic spine while the lingering finish tightens up considerably. As is often the case this is a relatively refined Nuits and while it's still on the way up it is not so structured or austere that it could not be enjoyed now provided that it was given 30 to 45 minutes of air first. 93/2025+
