(40+ year old vines). This is at once the most elegant and the most complex wine in the range with its ripe, pure and airy aromas of white flower, wet stone, spice and lemon/lime nuances where, in textbook Perrières fashion, the minerality also permeates the textured, concentrated and refined medium-bodied flavors that possess incredible precision on the almost painful and hugely long finish. Roulot makes the most understated version of Perrières among the top guns and this is destined to be a classic. Or, more prosaically stated, this is a genuine ‘wow’ wine. (93-96)/2022+
