(from the sub-climat of Les Cruots, also known as Vignes Blanches). A gorgeously seductive nose offers up a layered and airy blend of red and blue pinot fruit, spice notes and perfumed cassis and violet nuances that lead to robust, even rugged big-boned flavors that possess marvelous layers, a velvety mouth feel and striking length. This is a sappy, powerful and serious effort that is clearly built to age. 93/2016+
