An absolutely stunning nose features notes of oak toast, a wonderfully broad array of spice elements, both of which add breadth to the citrus and floral infused white orchard fruit aromas. As is often the case with this wine, it is built on its minerality with very fine intensity to the medium weight plus flavors that also culminate in an impressively long but still quite compact finish. The linear backend is clearly in need of time to flesh out but the underlying material is clearly here to allow that to happen. Moreover, one of the genuinely wonderful aspects of this wine in 2012 is the textured, pure and effortlessly stylish mouth feel. In short, this is stunning. 95/2020+
