(from 25% En Gémeaux and 75% En la Chapelle). Like the Clos Prieur there is a background note of menthol surrounding the overtly spicy and floral-suffused aromas of earth, underbrush and various red berries. The supple, refined and solidly concentrated middle weight flavors possess a really lovely texture that is generous, seductive and sappy before terminating in a markedly firm but not really austere finish. Excellent quality here. 94/2030+
