(from 90 to 100 year old vines). This is also markedly ripe yet retains a good sense of freshness to the spicy red and black currant aromas. The mouth feel is lush to the point of opulence as the concentrated medium-bodied flavors possess plenty of mid-palate concentration and dry extract, all wrapped in a mineralinflected finish that exhibits just a touch of austerity. This is a robust yet refined Chambolle villages. (89-91)/2019+
