(from a small .17 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines close to Bonnes Mares). A cool and pure red berry fruit nose exhibits floral, tea and discreet spice hints. There is ample punch and lovely detail to the delicious and mineral middle weight flavors that are underpinned by both firm tannins and a taut muscularity, all wrapped in a linear and ever-so-mildly lean finish though the underlying material is such that this will likely flesh out in time. 90/2021+
