(from a 1.75 ha parcel of vines averaging 35 to 40 years of age). An ultra-fresh, cool, airy and admirably pure nose features crystal clear and transparent red pinot fruit and essence of stone. This is a bit firmer than the Combottes with even more evident minerality on the delicious, focused and beautifully well-delineated flavors that terminate in a precise, long, linear and palate staining finish. Terrific and worth a special search to find though be aware that this youthfully austere effort will required extended cellaring. 93/2022+
