(from a 1.75 ha parcel of vines averaging 35 to 40 years of age). Unusually, this is quite aromatically similar to the Combottes save for more floral nuances. There is more volume and certainly more punch to the overtly stony medium weight flavors that possess outstanding delineation before terminating in a youthfully austere, saline, focused and relatively powerful finish that offers impressive persistence.
