(from a .75 ha parcel). The fresh and expressive nose offers up notes of strong mineral reduction, green fruit, lemon-lime, tidal pool and oyster shell hints. The full-bodied, rich and muscular big-bodied flavors are succulent and wonderfully textured while delivering outstanding length on the stony, focused and explosive finish. As Raveneau’s Valmur almost always is, this is a powerful and serious wine that will require at least 4 to 5 years of cellaring and reward at least a decade’s worth. 93/2025+
