The Most Searched for Wines
This year, Wine-Searcher presents us with two lists of the most searched for wines and spirits on their site. One list includes the influx of Indian users they have garnered in the past year, and one shows results if the Indian users are left out. The one including the new Indian users is remarkably different than in years past. In fact, six of the top ten items aren’t even wine, they’re whisky! But take out that demographic and the top ten list is relatively predictable, full of First Growths, Burgundy Grand Crus, Champagne, and a touch of Napa in the name of Opus One.
