It seems counterintuitive, but if you buy fine wine, compared to other prestige regions you’ll get more for your money if you buy Bordeaux. Basic Bordeaux price averages haven’t change much, and even the top chateaux won’t set you back as much as a top bottling from Burgundy or Champagne.
