A reserved, even restrained and moderately somber nose of intensely earthy red and blue berry fruit, violets and game is trimmed in a deft touch of wood that is also picked up on the rich, full and notably powerful flavors that are also blessed with ample sève that coats the palate on the youthfully austere but impressively long finish. Excellent quality here and definitely worth investigating as the intensity is simply outstanding – note however that patience will be required as this is very firmly structured. 93/2018+
