A second growth fine red wine of France, Ducru-Beaucaillou is found in the village of Saint-Julien in the Left Bank of Bordeaux. It is a blend that favors Cabernet Sauvignon, with around 10% Merlot in the blend. Bruno-Eugène Borie, who manages this property along with two others, weighs in on the developments of late in prices, global warming and how it affects his wines.
