Buy Burgundy While You Can

Burgundy is already a coveted region that produces tiny amounts of wine. Recently there has been a new set of problems placing production levels in peril. Vine diseases like esca are affecting around 14% of the vineyards and ultimately result in vine death. Many of the vines are also ending the end of their lifecycle and need replanting. The difficulty in that is despite the high demand to buy Burgundy wine, scanty vintages of late have reduced available wine to sell ergo reducing funds available to replant.
